FI Coils, HELP

hi there, i am here to find an advice from people who are willing to give me some.
i have 2004 RX8, and i have turbo (first greddy, and now is Mazsport).
i have Mazsport ignition solution, i have read some of the threads regarding all coils and mazsport, but i am running in different problems.
now, i just changed the sparkplugs, the new one, all of them, but it seems that it's misfiring on the higher RPM, especially when it's boosting. i have interceptor X.
i download the tuned Map again from my donggle, but it seems that it's having the same problems.

PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES........
now the question is if you guys pay attention on the coil (the first one), it looks like it's gone. it's not the same as the rest. the top part is getting rusty, something like that. do you guys think this coil (the first one) is causing my car misfiring? is the first coil considered finished or done?.....
please help me out here before i decided to spend for a new set of coils..can anybody know what type of coils they use?

There are many threads out right now about the Mazsport coils going bad. I say get rid of the setup and get your self a setup from BHR or Fluid.

OKADA is way over priced, just get your self a GM coil setup from any one of the vendors here that carry them. Get a hold of Ray at BHR, he'll hook you up.

Fluid is still working on theirs I believe. But honestly if you plan to change out just one coil you might as well change them all. Or you could take a multi meter to them and test them out. I believe anything more than 5 ohms of resistance is good sign it's time to start looking at replacing them.

Steven, I would PM Brice at Fluid Motorsports, he did the R&D for Scott when they were developing the coils. His car was the guinea pig apparently. He is still currently using the mazsport ignition setup in his car, so he should be able to point you in the right direction.

I would be concerned about the masking tape holding your L2 plug wire together

chickenwafer, it was a tape to mark, not to patch the wire ...but, i am eager to find out if it is the first coil causing it.....it will be arriving by wednesday i hope

Oh ok, that's better.

I would still goto a GM Yukon LS2 coils setup- replacement coils are easier to find and cheaper and the system works with the proper dwell settings.

that will be my next step. is it BHR set up? i heard that it doesn't work with turbo set up, but i still don't know, i jsut read at glance. you have BHR right, what do you think about it? do you need to change the dwell setting?
chickenwafer, do you know how to test the coil by using the multimeter?

BHR ignition works great with FI, it just needs the dwell set to 5MS from ~2000 RPMs to redline. Stock dwell settings will work up to 300 g/s of flow, but they recommend setting the dwell regardless.

dwell to 5ms??? that's pretty high..but not high for the LS2 coils. I'm running those coils I just did my own set up and mine is set at 3ms and I boost normally 10 but when someone pulls me at a light I turn it up to 14 and I have no problems. But as far as the set up..you can buy your 4 coils local. and if ya get on ebay you can find the pig tails cheap. I think I have like 100 dollars in the coils and pig tails shipped to my door. But yeah I'd do the LS2 coils.

oh and as far as running..your car will run but run like **** with out the leading plug. But pull the wire and put it at a ground and take your spare plug and hook it up to a ground and watch your spark. If it's constant and never dies out then it should be good. But make sure if it misses only when hot...make sure it's hot before you do that...But you should see a solid steady spark and if you rev it...it should stay steady.
