Question Esmeril Racing General question

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I have a question

Does ANYONE know if Esmeril Racing is still in business because I have been trying to get a hold of them for about 3 months now to no avail. I was debating getting the turbo kit they offer but have decided to go with the MM kit, but I wanted to get their ignition upgrade and apex seals.

Does anyone know a quality place to get those two items for the RX8? And any opinions on their turbo kit vs Mazda Maniacs kit? Esmeril is boasting some seriously high numbers but what a dyno says quite often doesn't mean a lot.

Firstly , MM does not sell a turbo kit , he sells an upgrade to the Greddy kit and it's a damn good option if you don't mind waiting(some waited over a year).
And re the dyno numbers - very true . You want best area under the curve over the whole rev range for a street driven car .

Actually he does offer a complete kit, according to his page at least. It's about a grand more expensive than Esmeril though.

why would you want to buy parts from a company with little to no communication?

There are better turbo kit options out there, as well as ignition kits.

If you are looking for a top mount turbo kit, check SFR

For a low mount, a used greddy kit with an upgraded turbo (BNR, Race Roots) works rather nicely and will save you some $$.

Ignition, hit up BHR

Seals, I wouldn't bother...just my opinion though

You need to do some searching my friend.

Yea I really don't plan on buying it from them it was mostly just curiosity on my part, and I like MM he did some calibrations when I bought my AP and he always seems to really know his stuff.

By the way, excellent choice on the body kit. It seems like all I ever see her is the Mazdaspeed kit.

it's just time to move on really; it's a great car, but doesn't meet my needs right now

That kind of flew under the radar. Nice find. BHR FTW.
