Does anyone know which ignition lines to tap into for water/meth?

Hello everyone! I am on my way to pick up my rx8 right now and my mechanic needs to know which ignition line to tap the water/meth injection into. I have the snow performance stage 3 mpg max system. I should be arriving at the shop in about 2 hours so any help/advice at all would be very helpful!

your mechanic doesn't know? any ignition or accessory power source would work. the Cigarette lighter or AUX power would probably be the simplest.

Oh really? For some reason he thought it had to be run to the ignition. I'll try out what you said and see if that works

The power source is taken care of, I guess it needs to be connected to the ignition for the timing of when it sprays and im not sure if it needs connected to the upper or lower ignition line

upper/lower ignition line????

the controller tells the pump when to work, so it can be ignition or acc, since both are on when the car is running.

Yeah that's what he said.. Didn't make any sense to me at all so that's why I'm asking! But you are saying it can be plugged into the acc outlet too?

ACC is essentially the same thing as ignition. Unless you don't actually plan to start the car, lol. If it's hooked up to ignition already, leave it at that. You can even hook up a switch inline with that wire as well if you want to turn it on when you want.

Haha ok. Well it's not hooked up to ignition yet I'm going to see if it would be easier to hook up to an acc or aux port. But thanks a lot man now I have somewhat of an idea on how to do this!

the signal for the injection comes from the maf or from the built in map sensor--is that what you are talking about also?

So are you saying that the water/meth wires should be hooked up to the engine ECU? I just have no experience with water/meth kits I have everything installed and all holes drilled and tapped i just need to know where to hook up the two wires to receive the signal to spray the jets
