Diff Cradle for RX8

As shown in the pic HPP makes a diff cradle for the RX7 to prevent diff case cracking ....a very costly failure.
We can make the same basic design for the RX8 if there is enough interest and if so would start a GROUP BUY( minimum of 15 units). The price would be the same as the RX7 cradle, $325 shipped in Red or Black powder coat....custom colors plus $30.

IS ANY THERE INTEREST????

Here's a few more pics of the HPP cradle.

Looks like a very nice product but I'm not really sure if anyone will bite... I've never heard of anyone cracking a diff in an RX-8.

It's easier to damage the ring and pinion assembly than the pumpkin in our cars...
I reckon you can't post prices without being a vendor anyway.

Only way I could see this being necessary would be if you solid mount the diff, or stiffen up the rear bushings with nylon or aluminum. Unless I'm blind I'm unaware of a kit that has all the necessary bushings to properly setup the rear end. I've stiffened up suspension and undercarriage bushings in the past and have seen huge results in turn-in and responsiveness of the chassis, the tradeoff is comfort and clunky noises.

Thanks for the comments ......it is looking like the RX8 pumpkin is not a weak link as it is on the high HP FD's. Maybe as FI modified RX8 HP increases this will change....we will monitor.
