Search the forums for the turbo threads. Some are having issues, some are not.

One member had an aftermarket high-flow cat (or cat eliminator), and found his air/fuel ratio way off.

Regardless, it sounds like you need to invest in the support tool. If you haven't already.

Good luck!

The hesitation before bost is normal. Seems like all of us have it to one degree or another. Because the A/F ratio drops to something like 10/1 right before you go into boost. The detonation at hi-revs is not normal. My car had that at 4000 RPM on the dyno & we shut it off immediately. Called Greddy & had to send back the EManage unit. 8 lbs is a bit high, but one poster here was running 11 lbs from the stock unit, mine was running 4 lbs before adjustment, so it seems that there wasn't very much quality control here. You don't want to detonate at all so call Greddy ASAP.

This is a pretty common thing on N/A cars gone turbo. Hook your e-manage up to a GReddy electronic boost gauge and tune from boost instead of throttle/rpm position - that'll fix things.

Even then, you will have to tune/fiddle with your boost gauge a bit. My Greddy boost gauge was showing that I was running full boost, but for some reason we were only getting about 40 whp. He took off my gauge & hooked up his own boost gauge & found that I was running only 4 lbs. of boost across the board. Made some adjustments now I am running 6 over the rev range & 4 at peak. Still needs a little more adjustment for the stock 7/5 psi. Ajusted my gauge accordingly.

as for the stalling, will that solve that also, or is thaT because of the mass air flow sensor?

I spoke with Benny at Greddy and he said they have an updated map for the emanage. I shipped them my emanage this weekend and hope to get it back by Friday. I'm not sure exactly what they changed but you could try giving him a call and telling him about your issues.
