I also just remembered this. Idk if it helps but its worth a shot since I'm sitting here at work bored out of my mind!!

I saw the car before it was tuned and we were hearing a valve opening and closing. Kind of like a click or something odd. He said it was the SSV valve opening and closing at idle.

What he did to fix it was kept it open all the time. Is that something bad to do? Could that be affecting my idle and start problems?

I'm bring my car to KDR rotary next week anyway but I would still like to know what this guy did.

It can, probably not by much, but it depends how shitty the tune on there is.

Well I just plugged the factory computer back in and it started beautifully. Took a half a second to start up. Plugged the Int-x in and it took 2 minutes to start.

That's telling me the tune royally sucks!!!

have to agree with MM here n o spells NO !
Poor idle under any sort of electrical load is a known issue with the Int X ......

Should I try cleaning the MAF? I thought since the intx is maped based that the maf doesn't matter? maybe im just talking out of my *** lol

What is the ID of the pipe at the maf? Pics would be helpful.

I sold him the mazsport cai from my old turbo setup. It is the one specifically made to work with the cobb accessport, just so that's clear.

Which, as it turns out, MazSport made too small in every example I've come across - 3" instead of 3.375".

I was told by mazsport that it was the correct ID to work with the AP. They had 2 versions of the CAI; which they eventually discontinued the first version. However, I am not sure if the ones you have run into were the older version or not. I never actually measured mine since it was supposed to address the previous CAI's issues when using the AP.

I bought it a few months before they went out of business. It always worked fine for me with the AP.
