Moroso insert or BHR resonator for the midpipe?

If you can run a Y split in between the two mufflers you'd get rid of that nasty 180* bend, which is probably contributes to half your muffler restriction, as well as doubling the flow through the mufflers. Would probably be a bit louder, but it sounds like the rasp rathr than volume that's bugging you. Like this (2x 2.5" perforated mufflers = too quiet).

Worth running your WG screamer test again and see if that improves things. Depending on results another option would be to run a small muffler off a screamer pipe. Would keep it quiet during normal driving and get nice n loud when you get on the gas.

I'm running the AP mid pipe and MS cat back. I took the packing out of the cat back and I love the sound. Zero rasp and a nice deep throaty tone. Somewhat loud but not obnoxious. Not 3" and I haven't done back pressure tests but it seems to be doing the job... As a test I actually made a 3" dump tube right off the down pipe and saw no difference in spool or boost. Now that was LOUD.

Slash,

Sound clip? I have an AP midpipe. I've been trying to find good sound clips for the AP with an MS cat back and BB catback. No luck so far.

I'm more concerned about the tight radius 90deg bed off the flange . But yeah , splitting it into 2 makes sense and it looks possible with the 2 mufflers i already have . This was what i got talked out of doing
The screamer idea would be good but for the rasp . Would like it to have a better base sound.

Here it is on the Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point a few years ago.
Main cat is gutted, non-turbo: https://vimeo.com/23842625

I've since added an RB resonated midpipe. Made it much quieter, maybe too quiet. It changed the tone to a much deeper note. Shiny too.

Might tweak things up a little on the dyno just for fun . As far as everyday street driving goes though ............ I think 14-15 is about where it's at for me .

Same here... I like where things are currently sitting and I need more time driving instead of wrenching at this point haha!

Still 14psi but running leaner with E16 seems to be making a difference

Looks good! No timing pulled? I suspect not because that's a nice even line

That's E16 and not C16, right? Haha... What does your AFR log look like?

Did notice timing being pulled at around 2500 and it was quite lean down there . Found it was maxing out on the 'max calc load' table due to the improved spoolup.

AFRs are in low 11s (after some tweaking) on my wideband whereas they were mid to high 10s when running straight 93 octane. I'm hoping i can run the same tune on straight 93 . Will be interesting swapping back .

Had a really odd log a couple of days ago where i saw 22 degress of timing pulled at over 6000rpm ..... no idea how that could have happend.

Edited last log ... seemed a little optimistic so added the log i did in the opposite direction on same stretch of road at same time. so somewhere in the middle would seem about right . This was done on a hot day with IATs in mid 30c range so once whether cools down a bit I should see even more.

Lol that's what I do to see if a section of road is flat. If the runs are different per direction then an average between the two should be a good bet, especially if repeated runs yeild the same results. I like the 2d graph function in LV. It makes things like blips in timing jump out, then overlaid with other parameters helps to visualize what to tweak.
