Boost Gauges on the navigation screen

Im looking to put either a supercharger or a turbo on my car Here in the next couple of months. I'm still doing my homework so i know what i want. I was wondering if it would be possible to have the boost gauge, Temp gauges, and A/F gauge up on the navigation LCD rather than installing them down by the cigarette lighter and ash trey thats where i origonally was going to put them.

that too is my dream. Unfortunately, nothing is currently capable of doing it yet tho, unless you do a very tricky custom install with a carputer (and are a genius)

Would a laptop be the better option to figure out you think. It would look hella cleaner to go that route.

not exactly what you're looking for but here's Sammy's setup: https://www.rx8club.com/west-rx-8-forum-34/new-toys-138512/

Also, if you put in a carputer and reused the Nav screen, it might be possible.

Thats actually kinda tight Jedi not exactlty what im looking for but the closest ive seen. See if i go carputer then ill have to consider that new Mini mac or something small so ill have room for it. Where would i go about finding the S/W or whatever it is that i need to install onto it so that it can be possible.

Hey man look up www.boxcarsolutions.com. He built my custom CarPC for me and it works flawlessly. I run navigation and I have a sCANalyser running on it- works great.

Mine connected easily with the AVElectronics Navigation Video Interface! The audio is connected through the auxiliary input of my Audiolink iPod adapter.

Does anyone know if the nav system is on the CAN bus? If it is, can you display information from the CAN bus on the nav display?

The reason I ask is that the DataLogger/Reflasher could be set up to send some of the information it records to the nav display as well provided there was a "CAN to nav display pipe" in the RX-8 system.

There is audio... however, it's only when switching modes and making selections.
