AVC-R Install help
Morning everyone, I've searched the forum fairly thoroughly and cannot seem to find the information I need at this time.
I've tried pouring over the RX-8 manual, but without power hooked up to the car, I doubt I’ll be able to figure out what wires I need.
I am installing the Apexi AVC-R EBC and need to find out what wires I would take for signals. I have the harness run inside the car and would like to tap the wires from behind the gauge cluster if possible for Speed and RPM signal.
I would like to take throttle position from inside too if possible as the car is drive by wire, there should be some signal sent from the peddle connection.
have attached a picture of the wiring harness diagram directly from the Apexi.
I'm decent with wiring, not the greatest at reading wiring diagrams, but I can do it. Installing wiring isn't an issue; I just need help diagnosing it.
Let me know if there is any more information I need to provide. Thanks in advance guys.

Look up the wiring diagrams here:

I'm not sure on TPS form inside, but it is the white wire on the plug to the throttle body. The rest of the info you seek is here, it will just take some digging. look for DIY's on EBC's and maybe the emanage, etc.
I like what you did with the crash bar to accommodation the IC, do you think it is still functional in a crash?

I'll give it a look. The workshop manual i have in PDF form shows wiring, but does not explain what the wires from each connector means or what purpose it serves. It'll give me something to dig into while i'm scratching my *** at work tomorrow waiting for this protocol to be approved.
It's pretty solid up there with the angle iron. i doubt it would be as solid as the orginal crash bar, but it's pretty strong and ratins the tow hooks. A turbo rotary ALWAYS need tow hooks.
Also the front grill stays on without modification, can you say sleeper?
