alright... Greddy is refusing to cooperate
this is my GT2871r project. i almost have everything i need except a down pipe and the line that attaches it to the air pump (that is for the o2 sensor im assuming). i called greddy to see if i can BUY just those parts but they refused saying that they need to see receipt of purchase of the original kit.
i told them:
1. i bought the kit second hand
2. who the hell keeps stuff like that after the first year or so?
3. if a greddy kit owner breaks/cracks something like a downpipe or manifold, what the hell are they supposed to do if they dont have their receipts?
any ideas where i can get my hands on this stuff? any help would be appreciated.

I finally had a chance to see a Greddy kit off of a car yesterday. That turbo is the smallest POS I've ever seen on a rotary! The STOCK turbo on the 2nd generation RX-7 was much larger!!!! No wonder those things can't get very high numbers. I'd personally be scared to think I'm forcing the engine to breathe through an exhaust housing that small.

I can't believe the Greddy turbo bashing and from you of all people.
What's all this about the size of the Greddy turbo, Greddy customer support, or blown engines? These days, replacing the engine is cheap and easy. Once Greddy has your money, what else do you want from them? If you want a bigger turbo then get the cheap Mazsport upgrade.
Look at the Dyno chart, the Greddy turbo is a performance/value king.

What's the A/R on the turbine, I wonder?
it's prabably producing more back pressure than a clogged cat and a potato in each exhaust tip at the same time. he he he...

Mark me down as one of the Greddy Dissatisfied customers. I was really thinking about heading down to their company HQ & setting the damn place on fire !
As for HKS, nothing but love for them. Their customer service is like night & day compared to Greddy.
