Advice on building my blown engine

my compression is low and mazda wont warranty my engine becasue of aftermarket exhaust, and im not going to spend money on a stock exhaust when im just going to remove it after the swap, so i have decided to look into building my stock engine with plans of adding a turbo later. any advice on things to look into or shops near south carolina?

They cannot deny based on that, I have had two engines replaced with aftermarket exhausts and many others have as well.

First off, you need to call Mazda North America. They can't void your engine warranty because of aftermarket exhaust. The exhaust didn't cause the low compression.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975
http://www.impalaclub.com/naisso/magmoss.htm

Know your rights and contact Mazda North America directly. BTW, find a better dealer. I would never give them my business again.

If you still want a hand built engine, it will be stronger than a factory reman, but don't think they don't owe you an engine.

EDIT:
Damn... you caught me typing.

Low compression is a well known and documented Renesis engine warranty issue.

Can you explain a bit more about what specifically you have for an aftermarket exhaust?

He probably forgot to mention his aftermarket exhaust is a custom STS rear mount turbo kit.

Not fighting for the warranty repair is like fighting in a phone booth.

If one dealership says no, try another. Call Mazda NA and get them involved if you have to.

I think this is gonna be a hot subject in the coming time, so it would be great with a lineup what is recommended from the different vendors/supplyers etc. It is said alot about it, but problem is that you have to be a google programmer to find it all. I've been looking at this forum (a lot) for 1 year and still I find a lot of interesting old stuff between all general BS and arguing.

What I'd like was three or four alternatives:

1. Minimum cost rebuilding
2. Medium cost
3. High cost
4. Cost no object
