Adjusting the Wastegate on the GReddy Turbo
For the 4 weeks that I have had my Turbo installed I have been running 5 psi of boost, all accross the band. It holds boost nicely with no dips.
We tightened (elongated the rod) the wastegate today in order to get to 7psi.
After one full turn, no change. After another full turn and a half (2 1/2 turns total), still no change. Actually now it seems to start at 4psi and then jump to 5 and hold.
As far as e-manage, I have the 3_04_05 map from GReddy (Mazdamaniac rightfully) loaded. Is there a boost limiter by chance in this map?
We checked for leaks, but couldn't find any. Any ideas?
Thanks!

I think you would turn the other way to tighten the wastegate. You want to shorten the rod. But regardless, this only allows very minor adjustments and I have tightened myne and also can't get above 5psi.
