by the way, are you going to fit a filter for your turbo? space seems really tight there.

3Rotor Videos

Man that's one awesome ride. I think everyone who gets "infected" with rotaries like I have over the years, wants to see a 3rotor production car here in the US. For now we will have to drool over what these PR wizards have done to their cars.

I tried to view the videos, but all were 404 page not found. I suspect a bandwidth issue is to blame. If anyone has these, send them to me, and I will repost them onto a server of mine. I have several.

Robert; Manuel,

Magnífico!!!

(That's the extent of my Spanish but I think it fits well)

Great job guys and thanks for sharing, you guys rule. I'm in awe. Please keep posting updates, we need our "fix". You know we are addicted after following this thread. Would love to visit PR and see those 8s in person.

Joel - Keep us posted on your other tread.

Note: I read the entire thread and had to change my pants multiple times (The videos didn't help matters any.) :oD

Just thinking... my VR RX-8 with a 20b cruising around KY, and a mustang pulls next to me at a light and wants to race. (You all know the type.) Light turns green and I see him in the rear view. pric... Damn, gotta go change again.

He he...
8 eats up a mustang when it's bone stock. A well tuned turbo on the 8 at 9 PSI pretty much puts it in-line and above above anything in the 300-400HP that is running the streets. Raise the pressure, and they get left behind with ease too.
This kind of mods, my friend are on a whole other level. There is no production car out there that can even come close to this.

Is not only the hp, the real deal with the 3 rotors is the torque that they generate.
I runned on the drag track with a few mustangs and they loose with me.
(Mustangs with nitrous system and slick tires)
you can't imagine how manny other types of cars STI's, Evo's, S2000's, Mustangs
pulls next to me on our streets and them , SURPRISE! on the next stop they can't
look you face to face, they begin to work with the radio, air conditioning, rgonza and I call it the "radio sindrome".
rgonza have a lot of fun stories about this sindrome...........

"Radio syndrome" LOL
I am familiar with that. Seen it before, especially on the folks what spend in excess of 50-70 K on their ride and think themselves to be the kings of the road. Then suddenly zzzzz-rrr-r-r-shshsh -- pshhh --- zzzzrrr-rrr-shshsh pshsh and they are trying desperately and unsuccessfully to catch up. Next intersection, I just look at them with a smile, and they are changing the radio channel.
Another funny thing is, I always let them go a bit ahead of me, because i don't want to drop my clutch. So I don't rev it from the get go. I start normally, from like 2-3 K rpm, and as the clutch is fully engaged and the car is rolling I let her go....
By the redline in 1st, I am onto them, 2nd, they are next to me or already behind, 3rd: and the game is over, and the 4th, which rarely has to be used, but has been used sometimes will totally rub it in, and will completely devastate the not so stuck up anymore driver.
But then again, mine is just a Renny with a turbo running 8-9 PSI. What you guys have there under your hoods is beyond my comprehension of bad-assness. It is just pure evil.

What is the baseline HP of the 3 Rotor engine before all the other mods and such?
