well not kidding you will indeed need some of that.
But RGonza can tell you all you need my friend. He helped me with mine.
May I ask what was your total cost?

I plan on doing the install myself.
thinking 4500 for the motor. But I think I can find it cheaper

the engine was around 4000.
But I spent over 20G's. but I bought the best parts I could find
turbo alone was 2000 plus all its parts ( wastegate, blowoff)
the Haltech was 1400 ( E11V2)
the gauges were 1800 ( you dont need those)
the engine had some work doe ( port, and all new internals parts ( exept the rotors ofcourse))
and many more...
the clucth ( you need a real good one for this mosnter)

So if you go conservative and you do it yourself you can probably make it from 10 G's up

Cool thanks

Yes I plan on doing it myself with some help here and there from some of the mnrx8club members

Hope to get the egine soon then I can start yanking everything apart.
once the engine is in place and working. I'll start on the turbo.

Do you have a picture of your engine mount? I heard you'll have to move the mount forward.

He didnt bring the car to Puerto Rico. He built it in his kitchen cabinet shop in florida. If you ask me this was some pretty impressive stuff he acomplished in his shop. The cabinets look really good too .

In the "RX-8 Multimedia/Photo Gallerie" section of this forum there is a thread called "surgery has begun" that documents every step of the way from the "reni" to the 20B. You can also search for it.

Chris
