that intake manifold is a custom one....................
some guy from Puerto Rico make it.
The intake was on the car before rgonza put his hands on the car.

the blue RX8 is on the final details, rgonza tell me that the car accelerates really fast.
I would take a ride soon!

Rx8PR in the post before this post said that you are running the car without the turbo. So I guess my question is, "Are you still in this power range without the turbo?"

read it again.......................

the one that is without turbo is rgonza car.
that engine have suffient power to broke the tranny without a turbo .

The car is now without a turbo because he buyed a bigger turbo and to install it
he would need to relocate the ECU's and make a new manifold. He whants to finish
the blue RX8 before beginning to work on his car.

regards,

Manuel

I did read it again and it says and I quote "so we're not in this bracket we're above over 700 RWHP!!!"
I took the fact that he says "we're" in his statement meaning that he was including himself since he was the one who posted this.......
That is why I asked the question, to see if he is getting above 700hp with a naturally aspirated 20b/ not using his turbo/ running without the turbo.......................?????????????????

regards,

Punishr

when he talk about 700 rwhp range is because that is the normal range for his car.
now the car is without turbo but is only temporary, until he have sometime
to make the new manifold etc etc, right now he is busy working on the blue RX8.

the point to looking for a different tranny is that the car all ready broked the tranny 5 times, the last broken one was without turbo.

He is not saying that the car has 700 rwhp without turbo , he talk about the normal bracket
for his car ....................

LoL I've heard of it, does that motor in the pic actually runs? Custom eccentric shaft with a very low redline?

Which T-5 tranny is that one? The input shaft is pretty long. The one we did used the upgraded G-force input shaft which is a lot shorter and used a much smaller adapter plate. That longer input shaft should put the shifter closer to the factory position in the shifter tunnel on the rx-7 chassis.
On the link below you can see a pic of the T-5 that came in the nissan turbo 280z with the shifter placed all the way back.
