Robert,

finally today I fixed the problem with the battery cable,

here are pictures of the new 3-0 cable finally installed

as we talk, I keeped the other red cable (smaller, the old one) , now is installed

from the alternator directly to the battery to help charging the battery qickly.

the car now start 100% better .

How does this project affect the 50/50 weight balance the car has?

I think he's saying that the RX-8 started out life as an automatic, but now sports a manual 6-speed that's been modded.

Guys,

rgonza buy this car with a AT you can note on one of the pictures that the cluster is from and autmotatic Rx8, but when he installed the 20B he installed also a 6 speed maual transmission.
he already have a manual transmission gauge cluster but is not a priority to change the cluster, one day he would do it!

here is a pic of his starlet ... I dont think he runs it anymore

if I remember correctly it was named after his daughter, well if anybody is interested in seeing what the full potential of the renesis is capable of I suggest you look him up

I think he has a general auto shop off waters, and he used to work on my T2 FC he is a good guy and if you know spanish or have spanish friends I s'pose it would help b/c I speak very little spanish in regards to specific engine components and such

the dude that brought in the GTU and gsl FC into my job [search my threads started] said that he recovered a burnt RX-8 and is in the works of installing a 20b in it

I think if you guys could share information on the 20b in regards to the RX-8 you could accomplish a lot as far as the driveline and engine mounts and w/e

sorry mods if you want to join my posts you can I am drunk and coked up

peace

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=170001155028

You know you want to. And if I had the $3700 he's asking - I'd buy it right now and figure out ow to put it in later..

He ended up running a 7.47 on that car; he will be racing a RX8 and hopes for a 6.9 timeslip on it

Maybe I should buy one there. How cheap? I wonder how much it would cost to ship one to Texas... any ideas?

Maybe the best deal is to find one in Japan and have it shipped directly from there.. thoughts?

I would like to know more about this. I really want to join the 3-rotor club.

I would even like to try to do it myself as long as Mr. Gonzalez doesn't mind me asking questions on the best way to do each step - seeing as how he's done it twice now and obviously knows what he's doing.
