ZOOMBY'S NEW STORMY BLUE RX8'S CUSTOM INTERIOR (piks inside)
Hi All ,
I did a few things differently, upon buying my second rx8 and spent a lil bit on the interior this time. I Purchased a new Stormy Blue RX8, and was not too keen on the leather options provided by mazda. So I had custom interior done, on my car, which is Black with blue inserts and Blue stitching around the seats. Doors + steering wheel and the gear shift was also completed.
Although I had to wait that extra time for it to be completed, but I am very happy with the result. I had the work completed thru mazda, although thru a profesional upholstery workshop who was one of only a couple who are certified to upholster seats with airbags(tested and certified etc), well here in Sydney Australia anyway.
I have posted a couple of piks here , oooh and yes more mods in the future are planned, eg coilovers/new rims/turbo/b-kit ...but for now this is what it looks like..
see ya,
hope like it.

Very nice. It just upsets me that Mazda offers so few choices for color... that an owner had to pay a lot of extra money to get leather in a matching color. I mean, it looks outstanding, but that's nothing "crazy" or "unreasonable" or anything that would REQUIRE a third-party professional to do. Mazda should offer that.....You know what I mean?

Dude, they totally messed your car up with that interior. They put steering wheel on the wrong side!
But seriously, Looks awesome, except maybe for the shift boot, but I bet It'd grow on me if I saw it in person.

thanks buddy, and yeah tell me bout it lol. I actually bought the leather pack(all black), and had it stripped, then a darker black used with the blue inserts ...and the mazda dealer said, u want to do what?? haha...anyway I wasnt keen on jus black or black and red or the cloth pack, or ltd editons....but yeah i know what u mean, it wouldnt be that hard to provide it as an option to match the colour of each 8....im sure there would be many other owners wishing they had the choice.

thanks mate, i guess everyone would have a different preference. It took me a hours trying to work out which blue to use lol... I had all these different shades of blue in front of me and even had to back once haha...but i ended up chosing this blue, as darker blues would blend a little too much with the awsum stormy blue colour...but i wanted it to stand out a little too . thanks for ur comment

thanks alot champ , well the mats are a mazda option i believe...and actually theres have been a bit of discussions about mats in the oz forum here...not sure if these are the same ones there talking bout, but i think som1 said there about $200AUD bucks a set...plz dont quote me lol, as i didnt pay extra....as Mazda decided to chuck them in, when i went to all trouble getting my interior done . Having said that my previous VR 8, had the same mats except with red around the in side of the rotor (if u know what i mean).
