What wires do I tap into for the ACC and the B+???? I have read the other info from other threads and there are no specifics....
Some have mentioned tapping into the Cigarette lighters....thats fine but there are two connectors...which wires do I tap into????

Your cigarette lighter ahs a large white plug with 2 cables. A red and a black. The red is your acc+ and the black is your ground. You could also tap into any chasis screw, but just used this one. I totally removed my lighter so I just cut the cables and used it for both ACC and Bat. It can be done and for certain reasons I prefered this. If not the stereo cable (large white one) should have an always on cable. The wiring is posted here: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...5&pagenumber=3
Thats it. Plug in your antenna pass-through and give it a try.

Yay!
:D
BTW, I decided to modify my ashtray by dremel to fit the commander control panel inside the ashtray and have it close. I am not using the bezel that came with the unit, but rather am making on out of plexy to fit the ashtray like a lid. Just need to smooth some edges and 'll have some pics up with measurements in case anybody else wants it.

flyboy....its cool man..thanks...
Genom....Sounds good man...post some pics when you get it finished...Im looking for a good way to flush mount it so the the lid can close as well.
I will try to take some pics of my install soon. I found a great place for the "black box" control module.
Thanks guys
