Ebay my friend. Ebay. That is if you don't mind voiding the JL Audio warranty. I didn't mind. You can score one for about $340 from any number of the Ebay audio stores and just use the 'buy it now' option. Even with shipping you'll be looking at ~$200 less than if you went to a local car audio shop.

I just bought a 500/1 and a 300/4 for the audio system I'm building in my 8. I'm thinking about starting a thread documenting the build if there is any interest in it. I'm taking pictures along the way just because it's fun to document and I have a digital camera.

hehe i have one of those sitting in my backseat right now but your gonna be looking at around 400... any install ideas? im getting my 10 w7 and 500/1 amp installed friday but im thinking imi gonna have them install the amp w/ a red light on it in the indention and have them cover it flush w/ plexi glass. but ill post pics asap
