Question Navteq DVD for RX8

Went to Navteq's website to inquire about price for latest NAV. DVD and it was $199. So I inquired about the DVD for the 350Z. The navteq site referred me to another site, and I looked for the lastest DVD for the 350Z and it was one sale for $140 or $149, I forget which one. Updated my firmware yesterday and looked at current DVD for the first time, and it has years 2000-1 stamped on DVD. That's old data, but why do you think the 350Z's is cheaper? Is it also a disc made my Navteq?

I think navTEch was offering $50 off their disc recently. I called a few months ago and was quoted $149.

Price difference is most likely just a price / demand issue. I would venture to say there's a whole lot more nissan 350's / G35's with Nav then RX-8's. More discs means they can sell them cheaper. But who knows, could just be poor contract negotiations on Mazda's part.

Even the new Rx-8 discs are a bit outdated aleardy. I want ot say...'04?
