I have a set of 6x8 (2-way) Infinity Kappa speakers installed on the front of my 8. I have the base audio system. I am wondering if I need to disconnect the stock tweeters.

The Infinity's are 2 ohm and the stock tweeters are 4 ohm. I wonder if this will mess up the signal. The challenge I have is that I am not sure how the stock tweeter is wired. There is a pair of wires coming out from the HU, but there are 4 at the door (2x for woofer, 2x for tweeter).

Your advice would be much appreciated...

 

If I remember correctly, the stock paper 6x8 speakers were also 4 Ohm, so replacing them with the 2 Ohm Kappas isn't a good idea. Disconnecting the tweeters will hardly help the situation.

There are quite a few people on here who might be able to come up with some solution - I don't have much audio expertise, sorry.
