come on stealth with 1800 + posts and you do not know what an LC6 is?! and he only has one post. It is very similar to the JL Audio Clean sweep. It is a signal processor for those cars that have highly intregrated stero systems such as the Bose in the RX-8. I know Audio Control has some wiring diagrams on theri website now sure hoe helpful they are. i will soon find out. You can connect the LC6 or LC6i into any amp in your system and the tap into that with the rest of your componets. If you have any questions i am sure Forbidden will be able to help you out. By the way Forbidden if you are out there where is the best price i can buy an LC6i mayeb you or local?

I am a CDN authorized dealer, your best bet is to find one locally.

As far as the install goes, is your vehicle a Blows or non-Blows system?

LC6 wiring diagram

It is a Bose system. I was going to replace the Bose amp with the LC6. Put in a 500/1 JL Amp to run a 10" JL sub in a 4080 box and keep the stock components for now.

I assume you realize that you can't replace the Bose amp w/ an LC6. It is still needed to power the rear components & the signal for the fronts go through it.

You tap into the stock amps to get a signal to the lc6 and then run that to your amplifers to run your subs, you will not replace anthing but instead be slicing subs into the setup.

Lc6

Do you use the ground, power, remote wires from the Bose amp to feed the LC6. Or would you split the 12v 4 gage that I ran from the batter to feed the LC6 and the 500/1 JL amp.

Do not use the power & ground from the Bose amp. Since you have already ran power from the battery, use it. Be sure to fuse each component properly. Read the ground sticky for ideas on finding the best ground.

The LC6 can sense the audio signal & turn itself on without the remote in , but you may want to use it anyway to prevent it from turning off at low volumes, especially if you are tapped before the Bose amp. You will probably want to get this from the accessory plug in the console.

The LC6 also has a remote out that I would use to turn on your amp.

Remote Wire

I ran a single remote wire from the fuse panel. I'm sure I can find a spot there to splice it in. Can this single remote wire be used for the LC6 and the 500/1 amp? I'm also looking for the black terminals that snap into the LC6. The seller on eBay didn't include these clips without my knowledge. Any chance on finding someone locally that has something that would fit or are these terminal clips hard to find?
