No dazygirl that's not it. It was kinda far back. A guy had a winning blue rx8 and he was modifying his interior. The car came with black leather, but he put in blue inserts which made it a two-toned blue and black, and he had blue inserts on the doors. He also wrapped his manual shift **** in the same blue leather. It was da bomb. Thanks for responding dazygirl.

Someone was selling one on Ebay that was silver with a blue int. Looked pretty cool too

 

i dont like whealys blue int... looks a bit tacky imo =/ i dont like the shade of blue... what i would like is a rich dark royale blue to match the exterior with the CF look black leather with some white thrown in there...

 

He wrote in his threads that the pictures don't show the real shade of the blue. He said in real world it matches the exterior quite well.

Yes, the blue in the dark pics did not do the color justice. You might check with the first year Dragon participants. Some may remember their opinion on the color match.

Check out Tamas's threads on going from cloth to leather. I thought his solution was the best I read. No offense to other attempts.
