Will these fit???

Hey guys,

I currently have the stock 4300 K Xenons, and im looking for a headlight with a more blue/purple hue to it.

Ive found some replacement bulbs, but since im new to this, I just need some input on IF they will fit, and if theyre good quality.

These ones here:

http://www.hidexpress.com/index.asp?...ROD&ProdID=15#

are supposedly 8000K Xenons.

Now if these fit and are a good buy, I need to replace my fog lights (I have to anyways because im getting an INGS nose)

SO, I was wondering if anyone knew a good HID foglight, that also has a blue hue.

Ive searched around on the boards a bit, and found quite a bit about PIAA HID bulbs for about 100 bucks, but they dont seem to be the best quality.

Thanks alot guys.

your question is confusing as it merges your headlight and foglight issues

first off...the price you gave in that link is horribly hi for replacement HID bulbs

as for fogs...you will never match the HID you are going after unless you get a HID kit and wire it up as fogs

Also, as of now all D2S/D2R blubs will work in our cars. Our headlight uses the D2S type, but all after market bulbs will work in both housings.

No problems yet. You'll find the best prices on ebay.

Ok, I have a question.

The 8500K lights above are really nice, but I think I want lights that really make my car stand out, really make it unique.

If the 8500 k bulbs above make them look similar to a BMW, I would want a more blue/violet light.

Ive seen 12,000 K lights on the net, and they look REALLY violet, a bit over the top. Maybe a 9500 K or a 10,000 K bulb would be a happy medium??

This is a 12,000 K light on ebay, caomparing to their 8000k

-Any suggestions on which bulbs to get and what temp
-Are the 12,000 purplish ones street legal??

Thanks a ton guys.

Any thing over 7,000K is NOT legal. Anything over 9,000K does not produce enough lumes to see anything. Stay under 8500K.

Hmm.. I found 8000k's on ebay for $83. They have a year warranty and the seller has great feedback.. One thing- will they be noticably different from 8500k's? I believe that's the temp rating of my super white led's.. and I'd like a decent match. Anyone know?

Thanks man. I mean the price isn't a huge issue for me (as long as I'm not spending like $300 for them), so if you know of any good place to buy them, let me know. Yeah I guess that search button knows no time boundaries. I just looked at my headlights for the first time today after I installed my 194 led's, and they look like halogens. I didn't pay that extra thousand dollars for them to look like halogens haha!
