Where's the Bose Amp Power Lead?
I have the base stereo and I am thinking of installing a small three or four channel amp under the parcel shelf, around where the Bose amp would go. I'm not planning to use anything very large or power hungry.
Although I will probably run a dedicated power lead from the battery, I might consider using the Bose amp power lead, if it's present on my car. I also know from prior threads that this power lead is not very beefy, but I'm just wondering where I can find it, if it's even there.
Thanks.

No Bose.....
The wire you want is white/red and goes to the 32 pin connector (J4-10) for the main amp, under the parcel shelf.
It is, of course, not there, because the car doesn't have the Bose setup and the wiring is left out. The Bose wiring is huge; separate shielded channel wires from the head unit to the trunk, then speaker wires back to the dash and doors - they would save a lot'o'cash by leaving it out whenever possible.

There is no remote turn on wire from the factory radio. Everyone I know has taken a ACC source from the fusebox and run it to the amp in the trunk thru a 1amp or so fuse, it needs very little current.
