Where can I find switched 12v power in the trunk

for what exactly? due to the horrid ground return on this car you'll want to run a dedicated line for most things
if it is a sub though...run a 4 gauge from the battery with a new dedicated ground return...just drill a hole in the firewall under the washer fluid tank

Depending the wire gauge, there might be no need to drill a hole on the firewall - you can use a grommet on the driver's side like here. That's the location my installers used for my amp power wire.
Also, regarding the ground return... I understand that knowledgeable people (forbidden et al) said it is bad, but honestly, I don't see the need for it. At least in my case, the amp works just fine without a ground wire all the way back to the battery.
However, I have a suspicion the original question (switched 12 volts) wasn't necessarily for power wire purposes.
If there is no big power need (like an amp or something), then you can use the rear cig lighter as a switched 12 volt source. It's close enough to the trunk.
Wouldn't connect an amp to that though.

I assume by the rear Cig lighter you mean in the console by the driver's elbow. My car doesn't have one (that I have found) in the rear console.
...take apart the center console (the entire thing), tap the 12v switched acc line in there and run it to the trunk...if you have the NAV system it will be difficult to run the wires so remove one of the back seats.
it should take you no more than an hour if you are quick

I know you mentioned that we shouldn't tap into the center console lighter 12v line to power an amp, but I'm still seriously considering doing just that, to power my Basslink. I'm trying to install it as easily as possible without tearing apart the interior. How much more time would it take to run the line all the way to the battery?

fortunately the fuse would blow first
