Whats wrong with the stock coolant & oil pressure gauge?

Are the OEM ones not very accurate? Why do people use aftermarket ones?

stock oil pressure gauge is a "dummy gauge". If there's pressure in the system, it goes to the exact same spot every time. (it's not hooked up to anything)

coolant gauge works but it's not very accurate. Meaning that by the time the needle starts to move up (from it's normal operating temp location), your coolant is already approaching something like 225 or 230 and things can quickly get worse.
