I live in Phoenix and would like any advice on how to get a satellite radio installation done in Phoenix that would be less expensive than the oem option?

I bought a roady 2 from Best Buy for 50 bucks, and the FM Modulator kit for about 30 bucks. Hooked it up myself. If you are up for the task of removing the head unit to get behind to plug it all in, you can save a bundle on installation. It isn't really that hard, just a bit time consuming.

I bought the P.I.E. adaptor that plugs into the data port on the back of the CD head. This gave me an AUX input that works with the stereo system's MODE switch and displays EX 1 on the panel,
Then I bought an XM COMMANDER radio and mounted the head in my ashtray because I don't smoke. The unit fits under the dash and I mounted the XM antenna on my dash where the glass meets the dash.
The antenna looks line a mini-mouse for a laptop. There is a 3/8" opening where the defroster duct comes up through the dash. I ran the antenna wire through there.
I tied the power into the existing 'fused' line for the stereo eliminating and possible RF interference.
I think the PIE adaptor was $49 U.S. The XM COmmander radio was new, unopened from eBay for $129 U.S. The install took about 4 hours.
