What is this? Passive crossover for Bose?
This was in my rear deck, passenger side next to the speaker. Car still works without it plugged in so I'm guessing it's just a low pass filter. It looks like the only thing inside the case is a big inductor.
I just want to make sure before I put everything back together without this in place.
Actually, I don't think it's a filter for the radio. The plug only has one wire. It grounds to the chassis. WTF?
Maybe it's a power conditioner/filter for the Bose amp to reduce noise. I can't think of any other reason why it would be mounted in the rear deck. I'll try tracing the wire out and see where it goes.

Just to clarify, there's two plugs that go to it. One plug has 1 wire and the other plug has 2 wires. But it's still grounded to the chassis.
