Question Upgrade speaker but OEM head unit and amp?

Ok so I'm I'm a bug fan of the power of the OEM sound system but Its just not clear enough, so I was wondering I want to keep the OEM head unit and amp but can I upgrade my mid speakers fount and rear and it will actually do something?

I have know clue, but I doubt it because the stock deck won't push the new speakers very well at all, I have a sony xplod deck one of the newer models in my 8 with Bose audio and the speakers sound much better with an after market deck all I need now is speakers amp and sub, or just speakers. either way it sounds a lot better then stock bose.

You could have easily answered your own question if you looked at the sticky in this forum. Without replacing the bose amp, the only speakers you can replace are the front tweeters and the rear deck and those tweeters.

Not really I say swap it out but, it's your car do what you want. If you do want to go aftermarket check here:

I am looking at doing this soon. If you have OEM non Bose HU then all you need is a couple of line out converters. Speaker wires from the HU go in, are then converted to RCA outputs for the Amp/s. Then you simply run new wires from your amp to your new speakers, therfore maintaining the original loom and plugs so removal and refitting of the stock speakers is a simple plug and play.

Sound quality wont be Ultimate, (better than stock for sure though). The only way to get the very best sound quality is to replace the HU with a GOOD aftermarket unit.
