Are they really charging that much for the 2 strips that go down the sides of your console? Or do you get a whole new center console for that much?

 

it's just the two sides, and yes.. they're serious
they dont even go all the way to the back

 

That's crazy. I bought my car used and mine are scratched up so I went to the dealership last weekend to see how much it would be to replace those strips. $51 a piece, I didn't think that was bad at all but damn the CF ones aren't worth it.

 

if i recall correctly they arent even real carbon fiber. they have a carbon fiber "look"

 

Just paint them black, or get carbon vinyl sticker and do it yourseslf.

Too bad they aren't real carbon fiber: that would save .05 pounds and shave about .0001 second off the quarter mile... and that would be worth it...
