TFT Screen Purchase
Hi there,
I live in Australia (OZ). Now This question may have been raised many a times, bt I havent yet seen it, so if someone knows where this thread exists, please direct me.
I just wanted to know, whther Mazda in the States or Canada sells the centre TFT Unit and wiring, and everything else required to use it.
I mean is it as simple as buying all the hardware, then just using your local countries sat nav services, or it must be mazda Hardware and Mazda software.
All help is appreciated.. Thanks

oh I think I understand the message you sent me now...
I'm told it is very difficult...you will have to tear apart half your car to install a MAZDA oem navigation unit...the problem is your car won't have the wiring harnesses for it...
you will not only need to install the LCD unit in the dash...and the NAV unit in the rear center console but you need to install a GPS antenna and be hooked into the cars ECU for information from the wheel sensors regarding speed...plus you have to calibrate the unit...complicated!
someone who is really ambitious could accomplish this task but I think your best bet it to either trade your car in with a NAV equiped one or get an aftermarket display unit and an aftermarket navigation unit...hell you could even get a voice activated one or touchscreen
