Hey guys, I'm installing a Metra kit today and I'm down to where I remove the radio circuit board. My only snag is that I'm not sure how the volume ****, tune/auto and text/auto ***** come out. I feel like I'm going to break the board if I push any harder.

Can someone explain if the ***** pop off from the outside, or if you actually have to push on the them towards the inside to squeeze through the hole in the board?

I am also in the process of installing my new HU, and all you do is pull the ***** off.

 

Thanks Stars... I did pull them a little before to see if they'd budge, but it didn't seem like it. So I'm assuming you need to apply quite a bit of force?

I got them, thanks. They were on pretty tight.

 

I removed mine a few times and they were a bitch every time. If you're really adventurous, you could wrap the **** with a cloth and gently use a pair of pliers.

 

That's exactly what I ended up doing! Made sure they were very-well covered though, and no damage to the *****.
