I've done alot of reading in the forums about the cracks/lines happening on my passenger side airbag location. Instead of just buying a new dash I plan on filling in the cracks. When I decided on this I thought about maybe just redoing the passenger side and the drivers side, with a carbon fiber wrap. I'm just here for suggestion on how everyone would think the look would turn out. They have the wraps in a red carbon fiber which would go with the red and black two tone of the whole car interior,even just going the standard black/gray route would be fine. Is this a bad idea, and going to destroy the interior by making it ugly? I think its a better solution than just buying one of those crazy looking carpet covers. Figured Id ask the experts before I jumped the gun and played mad scientist in my car. Thanks!

 

So you want to cover the entire dash with colored carbon fiber?

 

Not exactly the whole dash, just select spots to keep the two color effect going really if anything.

I'd search on here a bit and find the threads of others with cracked dashes. Several of them have filled the cracks with surprisingly good results. After that, I'd start using a sunscreen when the car is parked.
