Subwoofer problem

I just got my two 12" Alpine Type R subs and my 1000 watt JL amp installed at AMS in Sun Prarie, WI (great place) and I noticed that even when I'm not playing any music the subs will suddenly give off a burst of bass especially while driving over bumps. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM. SOLUTIONS???

sounds like a loose wire, possibly a bad ground?

sounds like that will be because they have picked up the remote feed from some where and the amps are powered even when there is no music playing

yeah its almost definatly a loose wire... make sure you check EVERYTHING! it happend to me once but it was my fuse on my 12+ wire coming from the battery.. it just wasn't screwed all the way in and jiggled a little, but i couldn't tell just from looking at it... it was very frustrating.
