Can you still use the "pocket" with this box? I keep my quart of oil and funnel there.

Are you sure? When I looked in the trunk of my 07 it looks flush with the seatbacks.

I agree the 8's suspension is set up very well, i use to want to put a rear strut bar in it but after driving for a while and testing it out, springs bushings and sway bars are the most needed for street or autocross. Ive been looking for a box for my 8, I don't really want to take up the trunk space with a full box, but that custom fiberglass one is a option to look at just cause it has a clean look.

Zenclosures

I have 2 alpine type R's in a zenclosures box... I love the setup and all and it looks smoth, but its just not a big enough bump for me... if you look at the specs... each chamber in the zenclosure only holds 0.75 cubic ft... and the absolute minumum for an alpin is 0.75... well when you stick a fatass sub in there the volume is even less... so i did what seemed logical and flipped the subs. they look pretty sexy from the back anyway... my sound nearly TRIPPLED! its enough to actually hurt your ears when tuned properly.. i would strongly suggest a zenclosure box since they are cheap.. just invert your subs.. Happy bumpin! :D
