I JUST PUT A KENWOOD DB+ 10" SUBWOOFER, AND A KENWOOD 600 WATT AMP. THAT IS ALL I NEED. IT GOES GREAT WITH THE RADIO AND KNOW I HAVE SOME SERIOUS BASE

im like a girl i cant stay with one system for too long i get bored of it im in the process of getting 2 10" JLw7, getting them is easy, paying for them are HARD. Burn deep holes int he pcoket and thats without the amps, but form what i heard there is no comparison to a pair of those, so im gonnna see for myself

Thanks. When i get my 8, i think i might just leave the stereo in my current car, and ... drive with the stock 8 setup.

I have a 12 year old son who loves Fast and the Furious...so i added a bazooka tube shaped like a nos bottle and another amp..the sound rocks and his friends think its a real nos tank,,even worked up the mazda dealer when he first saw it..not for purists or the RX-8 pros here..but fun fun fun

mxmedina, where the sub is, gives you the least amount of trunk space. have you considered putting it facing upwards, as far into the corner as you can get? or facing towards the centerline of the car, behind one of the wheel wells?

How does the bass sound waves enter the passenger cabin? Is it though the cargo passthrough or the rear deck?

The low frequency sound can pass thru the medium between the trunk and cabin fairly easily.

Sub location sounds perfect
