Hey guys, I am at a dillemma with my 8. I like the stock look of my radio, and Navi. The problem is, I want to put in a new head unit but that would mean getting rid of my factory Nav and I have nothing to put in place of it. I was thinking about a digital guage display but those are wicked expensive. I was trying to look on line for an OEM looking aftermarket kit, but alas nothing came up. I was wondering if any one had any advice as to what route I should go or even if you know anybody that makes an OEM looking unit for the 8. I don't have a problem tearing apart my dash, I just want to put something else in place of the factory navi if my new head unit is going to have everything. Btw, the new headunit would be the new Panasonic one.

you can get the metra dash kit and a nice aftermarket nav head unit. the stock nav unit would be worthless though unless you just sell it here on the forum. then you could just get a replacement dash piece.

why do you need the aftermarket unit if you like the OEM one so much?

i think what he meant was he like the look of the oem but want the feat of dvd,mp3, tv ect...
