Hello all,
when i turn my steering wheel to the left i feel a pulling and a weird noise like a knocking rubbing. I do not know what it may be. A mechanic that i took it to said the rack and pinion. But i do not know if that is right? has anyone ever had that problem? i have a link of the sound that it makes. If you have had this problem, how did you fix it? or what did you do? thanks everyone!

Useless video man, it could be a lot of things. Do you trust your mechanic? Do you have a power steering malfunction light? Check the bolts that hold your AC compressor on. If they are not tight they cab back out and interfere with the steering shaft knuckle.

 

No the light is not on, and the mechanic said that he can feel it when he holds onto the rack and pinion. but i just want to make sure thats what it is, and mazda is trying to charge me sooo much....
