Smartkey option wired to '05?

This guy on ebay is selling mazda smartkeys. Is there any way to hookup this system to my 2005 rx8 so i can have the smartkey option. I'm sure there is another system i would have to buy for the car but is this possible? Anyone have any ideas because i would really like to have the option of leaving the key in my pocket and along with a start button this would be perfect.

short answer. No
Long answer.. anything is possible but what it would take would be insanely expensive.
As far as I know the non-smart key 8's dont have the access buttons ont he doors or trunks, you'd have to isntall them. You'd have to install the receiver and replace the ingnition since the smart key uses the clip-on piece to start the car.
Get some switch blade keys and call it good.
