Actually I shouldve thought of that. There was extra leather underneath but it is stitched to be underneath. But thats not a bad idea. I shouldve thought of that.

Remember this is the 1st to be made so any sugggestions given will be looked into and used to make the next phase better fitting. Over all i am happy with it.

I was also thinking the leather would wrap both the zeta and the oem console.. if you can get it to do that and post some pics I'd probably be in. I was in until I saw the actual pics..

yeah im gonna try what is suggested sucks i already trimmed some of the leather underneath which could make it difficult to achieve that look.

BTW to the guys who bought the regular arm rest pad and attached it into the bottom portion of the lid how did you get the lid off? Is there a DIY any where for that lid?

 

if someone sends me a free one I'd be happy to install it and show it off at a meet..

aight fellas here is an update i reinstalled the zeta arm rest pad as suggested. it looks way more like OEM now. I dont have my camera on me its at my girls

tomorrow im gonna snap some pix maybe even make chrism do some work and snapp pix for me and upload them for me since i'll be in his area tomorrow.

So stay tuned....sorry for the delay just been going through some mess in my personal at the moment.

But i will have pix.

thanks Chris and thanks hockey...now those are close ups. The fuzy material you may see underneath is black duct tape. I used contact cement, a staple gun and black duct tape to make it fit perfect and snug and as OEM as possible since i trimmed some of the leather underneath i had to improvise. But now you get the picture of it fuly wrapped (the Zeta Arm Rest pad and the OEM arm rest lid).

 

I'm sold! How do I get one for the Zeta?

its black alcantera with black stitching

 

it takes at least a couple of weeks because he has to make it. give it about a week but send him a pm i know he is in the middle of shows atm.
