Screws/Bolts Holding in Head Unit?
Hi all,
Since I got my 8 two years ago, the head unit has been squeaking and rattling all the time. I have recently realized that it's very easy to just take it out...hence none of the screws/nuts/bolts are there. It's a jap import and I live in ireland.
Just windering does anyone know what size nuts/bolts/screws I will need and how many of them i will need to secure this head unit again?
Is there a kit I could buy from Mazda with all the necessary items in it?
Cheers,
Dave

there should be two screws at the bottom of the HU, that's all that you really need. There is the infamous "hidden bolt" as well, though plenty of people have removed that for various service reasons and left it out to no ill effect.

Thanks for your reply!
I want to put in all the screws needed. Whoever had the car before me replaced the HU with a MiniDisc, 6CD changer unit and never bothered to put in ANY screws. I prefer CDs and have no need for bluetooth/ipod installation or anything like that so I won't need to take it out again.
