Hi,

I just bought a japanese imported rx8 here in NZ. Slight problem, the separately supplied satellite navigation manual is in japanese, and the four buttons and joystick have japanese labels - I only speak english

- Does anyone know what the control labels read!!

- Does anyone know if the japanese sat nav can be displayed in English (at least the menus?)

- Anyone got a translated manual for the sat nav that they can email me or host online for download?

Partially answered my own question thanks to the link to the 2004 owners manual on the USA site.

Just to rephrase above then: does the sat nav system run purely from the DVD/CD or is there firmware that stores the language setting? I.e. Can I put in an english navigation CD and the menus will be in english (along with the maps!)

Japanese Nav might have different menu options and you might get unwanted results, so be careful please
