I'd guess it's a plug fir the screen maybe you pulled a wire from inside a plug if you pulled the radio hard.
Just a side note. If you pull the vents above the radio you have much better access to the back of the radio and plus. You don't have to pull on the wires.
Thanks, i already pull out everything and check every wire and plug and everything looks good. But still not working

The panel still dont working but, if i pull out the cd and return the sound working and the control from the srearing wheel as well
I got it from my birthday and after installing it, nothing happens!!!!!! I pressed cd, I pressed tape/md, I unplugged and replugged it back in and nothing is happening
I assumed it would work, and i plugged it in and nothing happened. No aux setting on any button on the radio, so ill just spend the money buying a good one instead of going off ebay to have it shipped from CHINA and wait 2 weeks for nothing..........
I wanted to get that one above since it has a USB for charging at the same time. But it will not work with the Firmware versions under 9.55 like mine which is 9.50.
I went with this unit:
The iSimple IS31 was $24 and creates a set of RCA outputs, so you just have to get any RCA to >>> whatever adapter you want. So for $2.50 I bought a RCA to 3.5mm male plug that was 6 feet long. it runs off of the antenna port and comes with a switch to swap from antenna/radio to this unit. There is no static on this and I just plug my cell phone in whenever I want since I can control the equilizer from there and it has a shuffle mode
Hey I have the same firmware as you and I'm installing my iSimple kit right now... What wires did you splice the 12v ignition wire to? I'm assuming you spliced the ground to the black wire, but if not what did you connect it to? Thanks!
Is anybody of you has working that plain aux cable from ebay? I bought it recently, plugged it into radio and i can't get into EX mode..I've got 2006 US spec 6AT RX8
Before buying it, did you check the version of your radio to see if it was compatible? You press the "text/audio" button and press the number "1" and it should tell you. If the version is old, then the aux cable won't work.
KickerFox: I have the USB option on my aux cable, I believe you press "3" for "RPT" and it should switch it onto the USB but i have not tried it because i always use my iphone for music

Then, take the ebay cable and cut off the white connector leaving only 3 wires: red, white and yellow. Solder the yellow cable to the "R" on the radio green card. The white cable to the "L" and the yellow cable to the "G".
Burn a Silence CD (not blank) and load into the cd player. Play that CD and connect tge 3.5mm auxiliary jack (male or female connector) to your phone or iPod and enjoy the music.
