Running speakers in parallel....

On a four channel amp, I was thinking of running the fronts and rears off of the first two channels, and then the last two I can use for a sub.

What do you think of this idea? I know i lose fader control, but I don't particularly care. It allows me to get a more inexpensive amp, a cheaper LOC, and spend more on the actual speakers. I'm not looking for a super awesome competition system, just something better than the Bose that I can hide away neatly, and cleanly in my car.

So what are your opinions?

You would probably be better off amping the fronts, leaving the rears on the Bose amp & bridging the rear for the sub.

I do not recommend it at all, why put more $ into better speakers and not be able to use them properly due to no staging ability????
