I just picked up my 8 on the 18th of this month, I have been washing it almost daily (we live in Orlando AKA Hurricane valley) but the silver on the interior, on the side of the center console has 2 scratches on it already!! I would like to replace it, does anyone know of a company that does carbon fiber or another material that doesnt scratch as easily?

What would be neat is if somone made actual brushed aluminum or stainless steel caps for that ... rather than that painted plastic crap

Both of those are exactly what I want, Wankeler where did you find that on the internet it looks like the black by the handles on the doors.

The parts pictured in Wankeler's posting are the same kit Astor posted about -- they're carbon fiber, not piano black.
