Recommendations on yellow fog light bulb?

Can anyone recommend a replacement fog light bulb to use that looks extremely yellow, similar to the Lexus foglights I've seen? I want to switch out the OE bulbs and am not too sure of the color intensity of available bulbs, thanks.

lexus uses HID (3000K) for lights, they make such a badass yellow with the combo of the bulb and lens.

My friend uses these Nokya Hyper Yellow bulbs in his civic, they put out a really bright, nice yellow light on the road. They only last about a year then he has to replace them, but they are by far the best looking yellow bulbs ive ever seen. If you look around you can find them for aroud $20 shipped. So not bad for once a year.

He also has a yellow tint on his fogs, that gives a little more yellow to the output and also protects the lense of the fogs from rocks and such.

I have the tint on mine but am waiting to change the bulbs when I get the mazdaspeed front bumper.

Here is a pic of his car : Hyper Yellow Bulbs w/ Yellow Tint and 5000k HIDs

they look a lot more yellow in person, almost identical to the IS300 fogs.

the tint is from www.lamin-x.com

How strongly does just the laminate affect the color, will just the Nokya bulbs suffice in looking similar to the Lexus IS300's?

I have just the laminet on mine, it only adds a slight yellow color, i got it cause i wanted a simple way to tint the light a little yellow, and also protect the fogs from rocks, and I will change out to the Hyper Yellows soon.

The Nokya bulbs make 90% of the yellow light output, so going with just the bulbs would make a HUGE difference, like I said you can find the bulbs for 20 bucks shipped on some sites, ill have to see if I can find the link....so they are cheap to at least try.

In person the bulbs look spot on to the IS300, like I said the downside is they only last about a year with normal use. But 20 bucks and a 60 mins to change them once a year is nothing IMO.

I think they are 55W output, so they are pretty much the same output as far as how bright, just yellow in color. They also dont get any hotter than stock, and thats good.

I love the look of HIDs with Yellow fogs, I also love to cruise around with the 'parking lights' on and the yellow fogs going, love the look of amber and yellow!

Here's a pic of some I picked up off of Ebay. I paid around $20.00 including shipping. I have had them for around 4 monthes with no probs. I recently was going to buyt some spares, but realized the seller is no longer a member. Here's the box.

How do you guys get just the fogs to come on without the headlights on? I wanted the option of fogs and side markers only, but the foglights don't come on until the HIDs do. I've asked my Mazda dealer about this, but they turned me away. Is there an easy fix for this?

Thanks for the suggestion on the nokya bulbs, I was leaning in that direction, but I needed some assurance.

sorry if this thread is old, but i just have to comment from a safety viewpoint

Those Nokya bulbs look like they say 80Watt. As far as i can remember, our stock bulbs and wires run on 55 Watt.

Raising wattage by 25 is NOT recommended at all, as you run the risk of melting the stock housing, connecters, and wiring harness.

I'd take them out asap and get something at a 55watt lvl.

I hope you read this.

the specs on these bulbs say they're 55W "draw", but 80W output, and as far as I know from what I've heard that seems to be perfectly fine. correct me if i'm wrong.
also, i went with the yellow tint film on my fogs from lamin-x and just installed a pair of these nokya hyper yellows. the yellowness and brightness of the fogs are perfect to me. thanks kyliquid for the vendor info.
