Rear door panel removal and access for dent repair
Hey guys,
Just found a door ding in my rear passenger door, which seems to be one of the worst places to get a dent on this car. I found a pic here of the door with the interior panel removed, but I can't tell if I'll have access to the outer sheet metal.
Before I try taking off the panel and running up to the paintless dent repair place, can anyone verify if the holes in the inner part of the door give access to the outer part? Specifically, the dent is towards the front of the door. There just needs to be enough space for them to stick those little rods in there to work the dent out. Also, any tips on how to get the clips out without breaking would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for any help!

there is enough access, just had it done to my car
you'd be surprised how many different types and shapes of tools those guys have... when the guy unraveled his tool kit I thought I was in a gory horror movie
he wanted to drill from the side at first but I said hell no and made him take the panel off.... after that it was easy peasy

Well, for this one, he DID have to drill a hole. There was no way around it without refinishing the entire door, and I really wanted the dent fixed. This guy has done work for me before, so I trusted him. My only stipulation was that the hole can't be seen at all and it needs to be sealed afterward.
So he put a very small hole under the rubber door trim, where honestly I'll just forget about it. Got his tools right in there and did a great job. He even buffed the scratch out for me.... all for $65. He would have even touched it up with paint, but really it wasn't even needed.
If anyone from the Baltimore area needs paintless dent repair, PM me and I'll give you the info.
