Rear Center Console Sub Advice Wanted
Rear Center Console Sub Advice Wanted
Hi all... As I preface all my threads I did my due diligence with the search so please no flames but can't find what I am looking for
Searching the forum can sometimes looking for a needle in a haystack...
I am contemplating attempting a single 8" sub in the rear center console facing into the cabin. I am not after thundering bass, I just want to fill out what the Bose is lacking in the bottom end. I'm also trying to conserve trunk space (I carry a bit of gear for work and the trunk is already tight).
Has anyone had any success with this that would be willing to share their experience and how they went about it?
Thanks!

ive also thought about doing this for a little while, already have a sub setup, but i feel this would make the back seat look a lot better! i know a few people have done this one here hopefully they will chime in.
It can't be that hard... Just run your typical lines from the head unit o the sub. Enclose the rear of the center console and mount the amp to the back. It will be jut like a normal sub setup only your adding to the rear of the console to make your own custom box
Cool, thx all for your replies. I'm not too worried about the install, that should be straightforward enough. What I am really curious about is sound quality. Is it worth doing or should I just go the trunk box route? I'm not after thundering bass, I just want some substantial added punch to the Bose system.
pretty good i did have a 12 in the trunk but i took it out and put this in because i wanted a lil less bass so its not to loud but enough for me if you want to hit hard you will need more than just a 6" but sounds good imo
