I can tell you this: some people are hesitant to go this route because it 'impairs' their vision but it really doesn't if you think about it. What are you possibly looking at that is @ your 1 o'clock. |

If you could just snap a few more from various places, I'd really appreciate it. :) |
You could take it to the track. Then you wouldn't need one of those contraptions.

I far prefer the detector over the rear view mirror.
If you don't like the suction cups, remove them, and use glass glue to stick the mount to the window. |

How can you use a rdar dector on the way to work?
There's way too much traffic. |

There's way too much traffic. I take 4 different freeways to get to the office |
And they are all parking lots.
|
negative. It's the beauty of being the boss, I get in whenever I want. (hence, NO traffic)
|
being a BOSS makes you closer to the darkside than you think.
|
I've never once denied that.
back on topic: got home late, not much light out. I'll take pics tomorrow and upload |
MORE pics jedi.. please
oh btw how would you mute yours since your not using your cable thing? |

Can you easily remove it? To remove the actual bracket, you will need to unscrew two bolts with an alen wrench...probably would take less than 5 minutes - although I am not sure why you want to constantly remove it. - Eric |
great pictures Friscoe! I've got pictures as well (that I just took) but can't find my memory card ready. I'll have my pics up around 7 PST tonight. (when I get my laptop)

Correction:
2005 w/ homelink requires 3/4" bracket (Jedi54 has one) 2006 w/ homelink requires 23mm bracket. (I have one) SAFEST BET: measure your bracket. They seem like they are made from home depot but actually are made from aluminum and anodized black. Quality is great and I like it a lot. Mmmmkay... since i have a '06 w/ homelink i would need the 23mm then right? |
I know my location is not optimal for rear detection, but I like the location because it's semi hidden.
